Week 23- Update

During the Easter break, I have progressed well with my product and report. I have added the main functions to my product and any extras are now a bonus as I am concentrating on finishing my report so I can check, print and bind in time for the deadline.

Week beginning 05/03/2012

As I am still waiting for feedback on my report, I have used this time to work on my system. I am quite proud of what I have done so far but I am worried I am running out of time along with work from other modules!

Week 18-draft deliverables hand in

I have now handed in my draft deliverables and look forward to recieving feedback.

I have started building my system but as thought it is slow progress! This week I aim to create all my pages and then I can concentrate on the difficult parts next week.

Week 16- 05/02/2011

I have now completed my database model and project plan that Dave advised me to complete before the next meeting. I would like some feedback on the model as I am not sure it is all correct.

I have built a bit more of my system and my aim is to finish the basic build (without intelligence) by the end of week 18.

I am happy with my project report so far but need to add more UML diagrams

During the presentation I received the following feedback:

• Research Database management systems- Something similar to Drupal but for questionnaires.
• Business re-processing- Looking at the EUI's system as a whole
• How I could expand on the project- the Won't section of Moscow
• Look at testing options

All other feedback was aspects I'd already completed and just not mentioned on my posters.

Week 14

This week I have started to build my system. I have also wrote a to do list to try and finish my report (of what I can do before the system is actually built). I aim to finish these by week end 17, but to build the system at the same time.
I have found useful resources such as help videos to assist with the build and I am starting to feel more comfortable with PHP.

Consolidation week

After recieiving some useful feedback from my posters, I will discuss aspects of the feedback  with Dave in my next meeting.

Now I have completed most of my report (obvioulsy except from testing and evaluations) I will start to build my system.

The first simple step is to install MySQL and PhP onto my computer.

Generally, I just need to bulk up sections of my report and add infomation about other similar systems.
